The Festival
A space for dancers to showcase their artistry and creativity. Open to all levels! Dancers are invited to submit their student choreography for the opportunity to perform at our Student Choreography Dance Festival. This festival highlights student choreography and recognizes students for outstanding choreography, light design, costume design, and more! The University High School Student Choreography Dance Festival also offers a variety of masterclasses led by industry professionals. These sessions are designed to inspire your inner artist with a focus in improvisation, composition, and technique.
Festival dates: March 6-7 2026
Performance: March 6 2026 7pm
Workshop Classes: March 7 2026 9am-1pm
Submission deadline: January 23 2026
Fees: $15 Submission fee (due 1/23/26)
$60 Workshop fee (due 1/23/26)

Submission Criteria
Dancers may submit up to 2 dance pieces.
Works must be student choreographed.
Works can be of any style
Student choreographers may be included in the piece.
Works can be 2-12 minutes (max.) in length
Works must be a final product, preferably in costume, and must be danced by those who will be performing the piece in the Festival.
Submissions are adjudicated and reviewed by a panel of dance professionals. Selected pieces will be notified via email by January 30 2026.

$15 submission fee must be paid in order to be considered.
